NEWS UPDATE ON JOE FEB 2017

20
Feb

We’re very pleased to bring you the latest news on Joe over the last couple of months.

First off and the most important, Joe recently attended a regular check up with his specialist, following on from the extensive treatment he underwent for mouth cancer in 2014/5. The news could not be better, the doctors are delighted with Joe’s recovery and progress, extending the check up period to 3 months.

Some of you will know that he’s taking a few months break with Jamie in Spain, giving him the opportunity to really chill and relax in the mild winter mediterranean climate which is proving very beneficial to Joe. We understand he is feeling very relaxed and in very good form. He’s exercising daily, walking and swimming and using the time off to work on the shows and his new album, more news on that very soon.

As we go through February with Spring firmly on the way it’s time to look forward to Joe’s 2017 schedule. The tour opens this year with 3 great Spanish shows as follows :-

1st April Showtime Tenerife
5th April The Live Lounge Marbella
9th April The Benidorm Palace

Tickets have been selling fast for these dates, we recommend booking now if you want to be there. The Benidorm Palace is the highlight of the Spanish leg of the tour and is going to be quite a night with Joe performing with the full band in this world famous venue.

Joe returns to the UK for the Easter weekend with opening shows at Viva Blackpool on Easter Sunday and Wigan the day before, following on with concerts ‘back home’ in Hull, then Pelsall, Harrogate and the world famous Circus Tavern Essex before the end of April.

May and June sees Joe right around the UK with many dates before we get into July with the start of the Viva Blackpool season with the celebrations for his ’30 Years Beside The Seaside in Blackpool’. The Viva season runs right through every Sunday till November.

Joe has a packed concert diary right through the year and we would recommend looking at our events page to check on your nearest venue and box office details.

Sadly we have to tell you at this point that Joe’s dear sister Elizabeth passed away in Hull on 29 December 2016. Her passing was sudden, although she had fought leukaemia for a number of years, suffering a severe stroke over Christmas while in hospital for routine tests , doctors were unable to do anything. We are sure you will understand this has been a very sad time for Joe & the family and their wish for privacy has been respected.

Much more news on Joe as we go towards the opening of the tour, Joe has asked for his love and best wishes to be passed on to you all. He’s looking forward to getting back on the road and to seeing you all at the concerts.
