Joe Longthorne was a guest on tonight's episode of Granada Reports.Caroline Whitmore chatted with Joe ahead of the Gala Evening this Saturday 26th April at The Palace Hotel Manchester to celebrate the work of The Manchester Royal Infirmary. Joe was a patient at The Infirmary back in 2005 when he received a life saving bone marrow transplant. The transplant went well but complications set in which left Joe fighting for his life for many weeks. Thankfully after 4 months in the hospital Joe was discharged and restored to good health. He has been able to resume his career and take his rightful place once again as one of the UK's most celebrated and most loved entertainers.
