With under 4 weeks to go until Joe Longthorne’s 60th Birthday it’s time to announce more details and lift the curtain on Joe’s ‘One Off’ landmark celebration concerts, firstly at Viva Blackpool on Thursday 28th May 2015 and then on Sunday 31st May 2015, Joe’s birthday, at the world famous London Palladium.
Plans were laid in the middle of last year for these gala evenings and they are sure to be a night to remember for all of Joe’s friends and fans. There’s always been a big concert to mark Joe’s ‘Big’ birthdays but this year’s shows are sure to be the biggest and the best ever.
Blackpool has been Joe’s adopted home for a number of years now so the birthday celebrations are commencing at Viva Blackpool with ‘Happy Birthday Joe’ starring Joe with a 16 piece orchestra with Billy Pearce, Darren Day, Stephanie Day and Viva’s own Mr Leye D.Johns with the Viva Showgirls on Thursday 28th May 2015. This evening is Blackpool’s very own tribute to Joe, one of the UK’s greatest ever showmen and performers with some surprise guests in addition to the announced line up. On Sunday 31st May 2015, Joe’s birthday, there is to be a glittering gala celebration concert at The London Palladium, a theatre which is very dear to Joe, he’s performed there so many times, concerts, TV shows and charity events and it was his one wish to return there on his 60th birthday.
Joe’s “Sunday Night at the London Palladium” his “60th Birthday Celebration Concert” will star Joe and his 26 piece orchestra under the direction of Stephen ‘Stretch’ Price. The line-up also includes West End Star Mr Darren Day, Joe’s dear friend the one and only Mr Ricky Tomlinson, legendary comedian Mr Johnnie Casson and Ukebox expect the unexpected from these 5 very talented lads from Liverpool.
We are set to make a further announcement about a certain gentleman joining Joe, one of the most famous names in the history of the Palladium, so keep watching………
