A news update this morning after last Sunday’s Christmas Meet and Greet Afternoon Tea with Joe at The Imperial Hotel Blackpool. Joe was delighted to see everyone there and enjoyed the opportunity to have a few words with you all.

The highlight of the evening ,of course , Joe singing “Wind Beneath My Wings’, an extra special moment and one to cherish for everyone there, this being Joe’s first performance since the recent extensive medical treatment he has undergone in the second half of 2015. A wonderful, powerful and very emotional rendition of this classic Joe song, not a dry eye anywhere in the room, everyone on their feet for Joe as he left the room.

Very special thanks to Rose Marie, Alan Reid, Chris Farrell and Ricky Lane for entertaining everyone and special thanks to Geraldine for organising the tea.
