Sad news this morning that Jean Pearce, much loved mother to the great Billy Pearce, has passed away at the age of 93. ITV 's Calendar shared this news bulletin on Jean ,who was such a great lady. Joe always spoke very fondly of Jean ,who auditioned him at the tender age of 13 for ITV's Junior Showtime back in the late 1960's. Joe recounted the moment in his autobiography and said how he was always thankfully to Jean ,who recommended him for the show and encouraged him so much on the show.
