Joe Longthorne "My Day At The Palace" New DVD

We are proud to announce the DVD release of "Joe at the Palace". The specially commissioned documentary is an up close and personal film of the day last December when Joe Longthorne received a MBE from HRH The Prince of Wales at an investiture in the state rooms of Buckingham Palace.

The film follows Joe right through his day with behind the scenes footage in his hotel room, full coverage of Joe at the Palace and the ceremony with Prince Charles, plus a number of TV and press interviews and filming around London.

“Joe Longthorne MBE My Day at the Palace” is a specially commissioned feature now available on DVD. The film is all about the day Joe was invited to an investiture at Buckingham Palace on December 13 2012 to receive his MBE from HRH the Prince of Wales.
Joe is one of the UK’s most celebrated and much loved entertainers and was awarded the MBE for services to charity in the Diamond Jubilee Queens Birthday Honours List in June 2012. Many people have campaigned for Joe to be recognised for his extensive charity work, much of which he carried out when he was seriously ill and fighting life threatening illness. Cameras were allowed unlimited access to Joe and filmed him throughout the day with behind the scenes footage in his hotel room, full coverage of Joe around the Palace, the investiture ceremony and interviews afterwards with TV and press around London. There’s inspiring, interesting and fascinating words from Joe right throughout the film with the opportunity to share the pageant and ceremony of his investiture in the state rooms of Buckingham Palace.
